The Magical Mutual

On November 4th, author, pedagogue and educator Dima Zicer will lead an exclusive seminar on child/parent relationships called, “The Magical Mutual.”
We will examine what is “mutual” -understanding -assistance, -support, -influence. Put simply, mutuality in everything.
Together, we will investigate ways to communicate with children that will also be pleasurable to us and ways to create an atmosphere of success and support in the home.

Dima Zicer is the founder and director of INO (Institute of Informal Education). Author and facilitator of pedagogical programs in Israel, Russia and The United States. Outspoken advocate and popularizer of the Humanistic approach to education. Doctor of Education, creator of several methodologies and publications in the field of pedagogy and informal education such as Practical Pedagogy: “The ABC’s of Informal Education”, “Private preschool; how to start and how to succeed” among others. Founder of the project “Shkola Apelsin” in St. Petersburg, Russia. The titles of his most famous articles speak for themselves, and best represent the range of topics discussed in his programs: “Manipulation and instruments”, “What we Can and Cannot do” “All people are different and what we fear”, “Comparison – mother of violence”, “Freedom for parents! (On education),” “September 1st as the day of a funeral”.
