SUMMARY:Family Portrait: Masterclass with Sasha Galitskiy
DESCRIPTION:A rare opportunity to learn from\, and draw with an acclaimed Russian Israeli artist Sasha Galitskiy.* This event is all about stories – your family his-tory\, the stories we tell\, the stories we do not talk about\, and stories we make up when we put our kids to bed.   Storytelling has earned its place as the most important tradition humans possess. Stories teach us to imagine\, to love\, to forgive and to just strive for better. Under the direction of Sasha Galitskiy and with the help of Beth Freynk and Kibbutznik staff team\, everyone will get to imagine\, draw and tell their own story. \n*This event will be led in Russian and is a family event\, best suited for families with kids ages 5+. Grandparents are encouraged to attend!  \n**Sasha Galitsky\, born in Russia in 1957\, immigrated to Israel in 1990; graduate of the Moscow Art and Industrial College and of Russia’s National Teacher’s Training Institute; member of the former Soviet Union’s Designers’ Association; his works have appeared in important professional journals; he has taught graphic design at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and served as artistic director at the Center for Educational Technology. He has been working at the old people’s home for over 15 years and has developed his own unique system of communication. He is the author of “Mama\, Don’t Cry” and the founder of @TheSeniorsArtMuseum.
